Our team has been providing hand therapy services in West Auckland, in a private practise setting, since 1998. Originally called Waitakere Hand & Physiotherapy Clinic we changed our name to Hands Out West in 2004 to more closely reflect what we do. The treatment is tailored to suit the individual and focuses on returning the patient to the functional activities that they enjoyed prior to the onset of the injury or condition.
Our services are available for anyone with injuries affecting the hand, wrist, forearm or elbow. This may be following surgery or an ongoing complaint of the hand. Patients may self refer or be referred by GPs, specialist consultants or other health professionals.
